Our roots
The society has done a lot of awareness programmes
workshops in different areas of district kupwara. The society has also done lots
of work in eradicating evils like illetracy ,dowry,poverty etc. The society has
participated in several national level exhibitions. The society has been running
cluster in different villages in district kupwara. The society is aiming to work
in other fields also to help poor people and serve the nation.
In Handicrafts sector the society has been working actively to benefit the poor
artisans of kupwara providing them the platform to showcase their skills . The
society provides all the necessities to the artisans of district kupwara so that
they earn their livelihood. The society provides raw materials yarn threads
cloth material to artisans to make it easy for them ,as these things are not
readily available in the District.

The Crewel ICS Ltd is registered with the registrar of cooperative societies under the C.S. Act 1960. The societie's registration no. is RIC/SG/1384-K. The society is also empenalled with the DC Handicrafts, Ministry of Textiles Govt of India.
